Privacy notice
This notice explains how Ad Astra Contracting Inc. ("we", "us") handles personal information collected through this website.
Last updated: October 6, 2026.
What we collect
When you send an inquiry, we collect what you enter: your name, email address, how you prefer to be contacted, a phone number and preferred calling time if you choose a phone call, your company, details about your project (such as a deadline, issuing organization, approximate size, and whether you want priority), and your message.
We also record technical details with each inquiry: your IP address, browser user agent, approximate country, the page you sent it from, and the result of the security check. These help us prevent abuse and fix problems.
Please do not include documents or sensitive details in the form.
How we use it
We use your information to respond to your inquiry, scope and quote the work, send you a confirmation of your request, and keep a record of our business. We do not sell personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.
Service providers
- Cloudflare hosts this website, stores inquiries, and runs the security check (Cloudflare Turnstile).
- Resend sends the confirmation and notification emails for each inquiry.
- Google Workspace provides our email.
These providers may store or process information outside Canada, including in the United States, under their own terms and privacy policies.
Cookies and browser storage
We do not use advertising or analytics tags on this website. Your browser stores your display theme choice, and while you send an inquiry the form keeps a request reference in your browser for up to 24 hours so that a retry does not send a duplicate.
Documents for an engagement
Documents you share for paid work are not collected through this website. How we store, use, and delete them is set out in the quote and service terms for that engagement.
Keeping and deleting information
We keep inquiry information for as long as we need it to respond to you and for our business records. You can ask us to delete it, unless we need to keep it by law or for an open matter.
Your choices and contact
You can ask to see or correct the personal information we hold about you, or withdraw your consent to our using it. Send your request to our privacy contact through our contact page (choose "Something else"), and we will reply by email. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
